lol...its just a joke.....we dont really have any problems with them..infact brendon and i are still in the group. the ppl in the pic dont shoot with mws anymore...guess everyones busy or moved on...mws is a good group for noobs who want to go out and shoot.....im keen on shooting with ppl if i can learn something from them or have some meaningful interaction and jjmpf seems to be the right place for that!

@All - MWS was a good group to get me off my butt and try shooting every Sunday but I quickly realized that these guys were more interested in just hanging out and the better photographers in the group didn't really impart much knowledge so I stopped coming. What generally happens is that once the group photo is taken everyone breaks into small groups and heads off. Some will stop at some place for breakfast while others will just chat and maybe take 1 - 2 photographs.

I find JJMehta shoots to be far more informative as everyone shares their knowledge on shooting techniques, post processing techniques, gear for improving shots, good locations to shoot at etc.

Though I do find that maximum knowledge download happens when the seniors like G2, Dr Anand, RKT and others have had a few beers.

So guys should we stick to the rose garden function for saturday ?

Sunday the place will be crowded so it will be a bit difficult to get the compositions without any people in the background. Also Sunday is easter sunday so I won't be able to make it on that day.

Hey Brendon how was it? did you get any good pics?

Me, Rakesh (Jadrock) and Gautam managed to make it. We didn't shoot too many roses. I got to shoot only one before the sprinkler system came on and I had to beat a hasty retreat to save my camera from water damage.

There were other roses outside but they were in an unshaded place and even at 8:30 it was very hot there.

We went to the nursery and got a few insects mating and other critters. So don't expect too many rose shots from us.
