@rkt - me thought you gave up photography  :P

That would make my wife very happy but unfortunately for her, no such thoughts atm. Was just tied up with work + family affairs and was unwell. Hopefully, now should be back to the weekly shoots...

Ah Rajesh you were missed all these weeks. :)
Well we were bereft of transportation which is why the Jetty was suggested. If you are available then we can definitely plan a trip to Khim beach. :D
We can probably meet up in the evening at around 2 pm and leave for Khim beach which should be around 3 hrs away. That should leave us with plenty of time to scout for locations and stuff.
After that if anyone is up to it I wouldn't mind visiting Chembur gymkhana for some um refreshments.  :-[
@Theqca - So now Mandwa is within driving distance from Mumbai for an evening shoot. :)

Well, Kihim is not 3 hours drive. Around 2 hrs comfortable I would think. We can leave post lunch but before 2 PM or we can lunch on the way. Dinner at the watering hole in Chembur sounds very good.

Guys are we locking this?

Doctor Saheb, Lock kiya jaye. No second thoughts.

Regards
Rajesh

We should make sure to leave between 1.30 or 2 pm. Don't want to miss sunset and presunset scenes. Traffic can sometimes be unpredictable on this route.

Awesome ! We all meet at 2 pm sharp at RKTs place at Chembur.

@Lightwave - Don't worry even with a 3 hour drive we will easily be there at 5 pm which is still too bright for a sunset shoot. At Bandstand G2 and I have to wait till 6:30 to start shooting the sunset properly. :)

@RKT - I am open to eating on the way. You can have a driving break as well.

@Ming - Ah doc, it will be good to meet you after so long. Get your 150-500mm as well. Who knows what we might find once we reach there. :)

We should plan to leave at 1 PM if not then 1.30 at the latest. Panvel to Vadkhal (45kms) is a two lane highway with heavy truck and bus traffic. Any mishap leaves a long bottleneck leaving no way out of the jam. So consider revising the departure time.

G2. See if you can make it. You missed the last trip too. It will be good.

Thanks Rajesh!!
Frankly speaking, I did not give a serious thought earlier as not having a tripod - will confirm by Saturday.
BTW, how you are planning to go (I mean who all are taking their cars - I know that you will) - please advise.

Nilesh, you are ofcourse included. I had also sent SMS to Abhilabh last night offering him the use of my spare Nikon D70S. So now speak to him and convince him to come. There are two spare Tripods. Brendon has already offfered his spare Tripod to Nilesh. Ayaz's spare triopd can be used by tdmumbai so that settles the issues of no camera and no tripod for all and we all should be good to go.

Regards
Rajesh
