Just woke up

Clicked this last week during a photo walk. He woke up to my shutter sound. Please C&C

loved the angle and the shallow dof...good work!!
what could be done better - would've liked to see the eyes a bit better

A bit of details in eyes would have better as Ayaz pointed out.

no...its not the lens..its technique related..and its not the sharpness..its details in the eye which need to be a bit more...think of what you could've done to bring out details in the eyes..

no...its not the lens..its technique related..and its not the sharpness..its details in the eye which need to be a bit more...think of what you could've done to bring out details in the eyes..

I figured out the minute I saw the pic that the eye part could've been better. I thought it was doable during PP but quite clueless.  :-\
Also not sure what went wrong while clicking or I'm missing some "basic technique" here.
