Barbet albeit frustrating

hi guys- been watching this barbet thought i coulds get some shots of feeding the young one but no luck waited for about 3 hours this guy takes the food but goes right inside-too bad C&CS please-regards-srini

Excellent Sri.....really the 4th is superb....In third I liked the motion of barbet entering the nest.....all in all an wonderful series.

Nice series Srini. The green looks a bit over saturated to me.

very captivating indeed, your patience is so very indeed in this fine series of images. Please share what focal length did you use to get sharp and clear barbets?

Your patience did pay off..just that "there's always next time" :)
The slight motion blur works nicely in #3

Nit: I'd back off the vibrance/saturation (then again that's totally subjective)

@ravi these were shot with nikon 300 mm f.4 with 1.4 Tc II mounted on D300 aperture F/4.  ISO200 , f5.6, 1/800 mounted on Tripod

I would have liked a little less saturation and a different level adjustment.

Terrific stuff, loved the way you have started it. I think you should visit this place regularly for more opportunities.
You can decrease the saturation a wee bit.

All shots are post processed, pre is not possible. Even films rolls were processed after they were exposed.
