Firstly, nice to see someone caring about environment

You perhaps can give it to someone who can make use of them ....

such Items are called 'Parts for repair' and people may use your gear to repair some of their already owned part or may have some things with them which they can use in received gears to make those Gears working...

If not, there are many places collecting 'E-Waste' or 'e-garbage'
Office wastes ( Mostly Blue Chip ) goes to there....

Check out that possibility.

BTW, if this is not for sale or to let it go, I suggest this discussion to be moved into another section called 'Discussions'

Yes there are .

If you are in Bangalore
1. IIMB has e-waste dumping bins and that is recycled properly you can dump there free of cost. One such bin is in MDC building.

2. Phillips Innovation Centre in Manyata tech park has a e-waste disposal bin.

3. Go to a Nokia brand store , They also have a E-waste recycling bin and I have dropped several used batteries there.

On SP Road there is a shop which buys old PCs and recycle them , It is on 1st floor.
Ask any shop selling the PC they can guide you. If they are not willing to buy your stuff just ask them if you can dump without any money most of the time they agree.

Very pertinent topic. thnx for opening the discussion. We in India have not cared about the issue at all but we have made a law about it , I have no idea about how we are going to implement it. For ur ready reference :
