Lovely set, Brendon.

I like number four for the exciting sky juxtaposed with the rocks in water below. The human element gives it tremendous depth and a great sense of scale.

Thanks for sharing your work.

Some say those of us who love to talk about cameras and photography should instead go and take pictures. I say we should go and also take pictures.

4 & 5 are very good...excellent colours (especially that bit of golden in between the blue), anchor points and composition

the others have colours, anchor points and composition but also have those blurred figures - if you can remove / clone them and repost?

a lame way to attract viewers attention. what has suicide got to do with depressing weather. if this is true then the monsoon is surely going to see a spate of suicides.

Hi Brendon,

Lovely pictures.

My choice is No.6/ No.2 ( both look ALMOST same to me, though could not compare placing them side to side). Assuming that there is some movement in water and cloud, a slower shutter speed would have added more drama to these two pics. Cotton candy like soft waves around those rocks, almost appearing like floating on water and fast flowing soft cloud.

There are many ways to attract viewers. but your titling is NOT one of them. I almost skipped checking what is inside, thinking that it is all about some doctor, ambulance or shocking dead bodies. When I saw that it is from you I clicked it and immediately was reminded about your reply to my posting in "Storming the Fort and Invading the beaches" -  " I generally like some dramatic titles". But then you are stretching too far, too far to understand and correlate correctly. Do you see any advantage in that? I do not. Thank god you are NOT a journalist!!! ( are you?)

Again what is that at the bottom of each photograph? Is that your signature? Is that your company name? Really? Please rethink. All against tenets of good branding.

But then your photographs are lovely and thanks for showing.

Regards,
Santosh K. Patra

Just adding my views here - (sorry Brendon..threads hijacked again:D )  i look at it a bit differently...i think its fun, its a humourous take on things.....we're shooting for fun and whats wrong in having some fun?? why take things so seriously? for serious stuff there is work, religion and life (not necesssarily in that order) ;)

***edit - re thought this one -
For some ppl i guess photography is something like an art that they would place high up there...like music is for some ppl
(i play the keyboards and a harmonica and a little bit of the guitar but again its just fun and im fooling around and dont look at it as something holy or divine)....so keeping that in mind i guess u could look at it differently...what r ur thoughts?

Life is too short for things like these to be taken seriously. Brendon, Braindon, Braindrain, BrainDead ..... what difference it makes what he signs ....
Maybe guys who find this unappealing should join us on one of our photoshoots to experience the fun and camaraderie. Sense of humour is not in laughing at jokes told by others but a capability to laugh even when the joke is on us :)
