Malshej trip on this weekend.
« on: June 19, 2012, 10:34:08 AM »
:) Hello guys as we all know monsoon is here and i this this is right time to do small monsoon trip. Malshej is a wonderful place for monsoon landscapes  ( i dont know much about macros ) and if any one wish to come there we can plan a single day trip to malshej and back . This is bit early to go but ghats will be less crowded and with good roads too.

here is tentative plan (SAt or Sun)

we've to start early before 6 a.m. as Malshej is 180kms from Thane .

reach M.T.D.C. hotel by 1-1.30. p.m  have lunch and start heading back to home .

I think everyone should be back home before 10 p.m.

i am good with both sunday and  Saturday .

Not disappoint u guys , but landscapes in hill station in rains ??? , i doubt u will get clear weather. In addition this place comes in heavy rainfall. Whole malshej ghat will be in mist, fog. I prefer to shoot this place in 2nd week of sep. This time it is best place of macro but u should have one expert who knows this place in details. BNHS organize same tour.
I am telling u becoz abhi mentioned about Landscapes otherwise this place is awesome for macro and certainly worth going for gr8 weather.

i completely agree with Dr.Anand  but still i want to give it a try and also ayaz i know this lake but generally in monsoon this lake is covered with thick fog its near MTDC resort so there is very little chance that u'll get such shot. Any ways i'll be riding to malshej on this sat or sun so those who wish to come please join me .
