thanks for the honest feedback. really helps.
Wish the Girls face details are seen......
i could have tried to extract details from the shadowed face, but then again i thought, my subject is that splash. do i need to show the face?
Very interesting image. The darkness on face leads to the mystery of the reaction of the lady at that moment. one can imagine any expressions. Soumya da i can see some vignetting (type) on right top corner towards left. can you please explain hows that happening..??
not vignetting. sun was on the left side. hence the yellow clouds are more luminous on left than on the right. the other corners are free from any vignetting.
Dark spots and camera facing sun while shooting the images is certainly NAY idea. I am not trying to teach the gurus here how to take pictures. I am presenting what I think of your pic. In this image, the composition is darkish unnecessarily. The picture taken at high shutter speed, has shown the water as rays which should not be the case. This issue could easily be sorted out at slow shutter speed and little longer exposure. A different angle avoiding direct sun-light could have produced magic in this pic. Neither bridge nor the splash seems to be in focus. That's an honest feedback.
very interesting critic. thanks a lot. the splash is in sharp focus and that's my subject. slower shutter won't look good as it will smoothen the splash details. i agree a little bit of light should be on the girl's face.
I would have liked to see the girl's face and the expression. I guess her expression would have told a lot more about her state of mind.
bodhi, that would be a different composition/photograph altogether. if i wanted to show the girls emotion/expression, i would have shot a different photograph for that. i wanted the splash only. hence shot from an angle which helps backlighting on the water.
Exposure blening again I guess. Am I right?
this one is not blended. i pulled some shadow details from foreground during raw conversion.
