It's great to have you with us, Doc JC!

Glad to see you enjoying the good company of the many fine folks here at the JJMPF.

Oh, and BTW... about the thread's title, your entry is a blessing, not an intrusion. May those twilight years you referred to be far, far away. I think I first picked up a camera with serious intent in about 1960. It was a simple box-camera-class TLR from Hong Kong. The journey from that simple beginning has been fun, every step of the way. In some ways it seems like only yesterday.

Association with our fellow Members here at the JJMPF has been an important part of it during the past decade. Here's wishing you every success in a long photographic journey.

Happy day.

:)
Thank you very much.
I am overwhelmed by the warmth exuded by forum members. I am thoroughly enjoying ( and hopefully learning from ) the lively discussions here.

Armed with this knowledge, some day I may just be able to click something a wee bit more than a mere snapshot. :)
Wishful thinking it may be , but it's hope that helps us in our journey towards a better morrow.

All the best.
JC

Some say those of us who love to talk about cameras and photography should instead go and take pictures. I say we should go and also take pictures.

yikes!! yet another doctor??? damn...looking at the amount of time and money you guys seem to be having for photography i guess i chose the wrong profession :D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  ;)

us poor normal non-doctor folks were always told docs are busy...its after i joined jjmpf that i figured whats keeping them busy :p

so now we've got dr rajesh, dr anand, dr ming, dr nirmal, chillumbaba (sorry i dont know ur real name), dr raghav + you....maybe u guys need a separate section for photos clicked by doctors :p

ps - welcome aboard and look forward to seeing ur photos!!!!!

So when they tell me the Doc is busy, he is actually energetically uploading his pics to JJMPF?
I have actually seen a (nameless) dentist who alternated between various views of the patient's teeth and FB on an LCD across the dentist chair.

No separate section please, or would you like to see anterior peritocardinal postantideluvian sections from various angles? (JJMPF, where's my doc degree - I can sling medical jargon with the best of them).  ;D

Please therefore be prepared for the dumbest questions imaginable ,and frequently unimaginable  by your standards ......
Welcome to the forum!

And don't worry about questions. The dumbest questions are those left unasked as they remain unanswered.
