Jewels of the sacred forest !!!!!

Friends , for a period of two almost two years i could not shoot because of some personal troubles & family tragedies ... Now again i have started taking pictures :

Venue :About 26 kms off Shillong is the sacred forest of Mawphlang....It is a small patch of forest . Sun does not enter becoz of thick canopy ..... It is full of unusual mushrooms & some flowers ... It is a lifetime walk to the time unknown ... Plz dont litter the forest if u go there ...

Gear : D700 , 28-105 ,70 300 vr, tripod

Plz share your views

1. a snail ( only living being seen in that forest other than me & my guide ) perfectly blended in mushrooms



2.mushrooms upon tree



3.God's own fruit



4.Orchid flower



5.Little yellow buns

thnx amit, theqca, madhav & rajib for liking the shots. I donot know what the fruit is . Even the local guide was only up to saying " yeh ek fal hain "  ;) . It was about 3 to 4 inches long & had resemblance to some unspeakable things !!!!!!!
