The cut tail was a crime shame
Was trying some closeups of this birdie when it decided to open it's mouth wide, could not react fast enough to zoom out and then click

Nice composition there. You've managed to get the eye of the bird in focus from the angle at which you composed the shot. That mustn't have been easy. The exposure is perfect, for an overcast day.
