Hello Shaikh,
Not to "put the spoke in your wheel", but a shooting partner needs to be chosen well..especially on long-ish and trying trips.
A lot of factors come into play - general frequency, interests in particular genres, patience levels, etc. Nothing spoils your "shooting spirit" like conflicting interests / pace. Some people like chirpy folks around them, some prefer the more quiet kinds.

I'd say take a shorter trip if it is someone new and take it from there :)

Very true to Hayathji.. If there is even a small mismatch in frequency and rhythm, the entire trip can be frustrating, affecting your shooting too.. I personally had to defer my trip to next year again as my biking buddy is unable to take time off work for such a trip..
Current Gear: EOS 1100D, Canon EOS 40D, Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS II, Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS. Sigma 100-300mm f/4 EX IF HSM APO DG.
Wishlist: Canon Speedlite 580 EX II
