Press the Easy Handycam Button to enlarge display icons for greater shooting convenience and control. With support of a wide range of DVD disc formats including DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW/DVD+R DL, you can be sure that it will fit your needs. Using DVD+R DL (Dual Layer) disc, you can record up to 55 minutes on a single side of the disc.

DVD-R/-RW/+RW and +R Dual Layer Compatible1
The DCR-DVD608E is compatible with a variety of DVD formats allowing the ease of use and simplicity found in DVD Media. With DVD+RW media there is not a need to finalize the disc (minimum recording required). Simply remove the disc and insert the media into a compatible DVD player.

Manual Focus
With manual focus, you can manually adjust the focus of the camcorder using the touch panel.
